Singer Aska released as prosecutors forgo meth use indictment
Pop singer-songwriter Aska emerges from a police station in Tokyo on Dec. 19, 2016, after being released from detention following his arrest Nov. 28. The release follows a decision by prosecutors the same day not to indict him on charges of using methamphetamine while on probation for a 2014 drug offense, due to a lack of evidence. (Kyodo)
