Top court rules in favor of U.S. base relocation in Okinawa

Judges of the Supreme Court's No. 2 Petty Bench sit in a courtroom in Tokyo on Dec. 20, 2016, before handing down a ruling on a dispute between the central government and Okinawa prefectural government over the relocation of a U.S. Marine Corps air base within the southern island prefecture.
