Tuna fetches 74 mil. yen at possible final Tsukiji New Year's auction
Kiyoshi Kimura (R), president of Kiyomura Corp., operator of the Sushizanmai sushi restaurant chain, cuts a 212-kilogram bluefin tuna at his main sushi restaurant in Tokyo on Jan. 5, 2017, after he successfully purchased it for 74.2 million yen (around $632,000) during an auction at the famed Tsukiji fish market. It may have been the final New Year's auction at the fish market before its relocation to a new site. (Kyodo)
