S. Korean acting president calls for restraint in row with Japan
Photo taken in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on Jan. 10, 2017, shows a statue dedicated to women who were forced to work in Japan's wartime military brothels. South Korea's Acting President and Prime Minister Hwang Kyo Ahn said the same day that care should be taken to avoid escalating a row with Japan after Tokyo recalled its ambassador to Seoul and consul general in Busan in protest at the erection of another statue in the southern port city.
