"Time Bell" rebuilt in Kawagoe
Photo taken Jan. 12, 2017, shows a clock tower, known as the "Time Bell," in Kawagoe, near Tokyo. The tower, initially constructed in the early period of Japan's Edo Era, was rebuilt in 1894 after it was damaged by fire and has recently been restored. The bell is rung four times a day to inform city-goers of the time. (Kyodo)
