Water poured into river to reach Todaiji temple
Wearing white gowns, Buddhist monks pour freshwater into a river in the Sea of Japan coastal city of Obama on March 2, 2017, so the water will reach Todaiji temple in the western city of Nara to be used for a traditional annual event there.
