Lawmaker who piggybacked over puddle in hot water again
Undated file photo shows Shunsuke Mutai, Japan's parliamentary vice Cabinet Office minister who was cautioned last September for being carried over a puddle when he visited the site of deadly flooding in the northeastern prefecture of Iwate. Muto was given a firm caution by Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga and disaster management minister Jun Matsumoto on March 9, 2017, for joking at a fundraising party for himself the previous night that the "boot industry really made some money" as a result of his blunder.
