Filipino housekeeping workers arrive in Japan
A total of 25 Filipino women, the first batch of Filipino workers to engage in housekeeping jobs in Japan via staffing agency Pasona, pose for a commemorative photo after arriving at Narita International Airport near Tokyo on March 9, 2017. Under a "special zones" law revised in 2015, foreign housekeepers are allowed to work in three regions, including Kanagawa Prefecture, south of Tokyo, where the Filipino women will start working in April after receiving training.
