Japan successfully launches intelligence-gathering satellite
An H-2A rocket carrying a government intelligence-gathering satellite lifts off from the Tanegashima Space Center on Tanegashima Island, southwestern Japan, on March 17, 2017. The satellite was successfully placed in orbit, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. said. (Kyodo)
