Court grants bail to prominent antibase activist in Okinawa
The Naha District Court in Japan's southernmost island prefecture of Okinawa holds on March 17, 2017, the first court hearing for Hiroji Yamashiro, a peace activist charged with forcible obstruction of business and assault in connection with his opposition to U.S. military bases in the prefecture.
