Train operation resumed after nuclear disaster-caused suspension
Train operations are resumed in part of the northeastern Japan prefecture of Fukushima on April 1, 2017, for the first time in six years since a partial suspension following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. Decontamination waste is piled up in front of the railway in Namie, where evacuation orders issued to parts of the town were lifted on March 31. (Kyodo)
