Gov't seeks approval for Japan-India nuclear cooperation pact
Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida seeks approval for a Japan-India nuclear cooperation pact, which would pave the way for Japan to export nuclear power equipment and technology to the fast-growing South Asian country, during a House of Representatives plenary session in Tokyo on April 14, 2017. India has not joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty regime. (Kyodo)
