Japan names new reconstruction minister after quake gaffe
Masayoshi Yoshino, a House of Representatives member from Fukushima Prefecture, arrives at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on April 26, 2017. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe named him as new disaster reconstruction minister, following the resignation of Masahiro Imamura, who said it was "a good thing" the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami struck northeastern Japan rather than the Tokyo area.
