Fukushima rep replaces resigned disaster minister after quake gaffe
Japan's new disaster reconstruction minister Masayoshi Yoshino (L) poses for photos with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo on April 26, 2017. The House of Representatives member from Fukushima Prefecture was named to replace Masahiro Imamura, who resigned a day after saying it was "a good thing" the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami struck northeastern Japan rather than the Tokyo area.
