Tiananmen activist Wang Dan to move to U.S., continue democracy fight
Wang Dan, one of the student leaders in the 1989 Tiananmen Square protest, speaks at a panel discussion in Taipei on June 4, 2017, on the 28th anniversary of the protest in Beijing. The exiled Chinese dissident said he will move to Washington from Taiwan in July, where he will set up a think tank to push for the democratization of China and a foundation to support political prisoners and their families.
