Japan to enhance GPS services with launch of 3rd satellite in Aug.
Japan's quasi-zenith satellite Michibiki No. 3 is unveiled at a facility of Mitsubishi Electric Corp. in Kamakura, southwest of Tokyo, on June 15, 2017. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. will be put it into orbit in Aug. 11 to enhance the precision of Japan's global positioning system, followed by another satellite to be launched later this year.
