Sumo: Injury forces yokozuna Kakuryu out of Nagoya meet, retirement looms
Mongolian yokozuna Kakuryu, seen in this undated photo, withdrew from the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament on July 12, 2017, because of a foot injury. "If he can't win next time he steps on the dohyo, there will be no option to pull out midway. He would have to take the decision (to retire from the sport) as a man," his stablemaster Izutsu said.
