India, Japan, U.S. hold joint maritime drill
Photo taken July 17, 2017, shows a joint drill of Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force and the U.S. as well as Indian navies in the Bay of Bengal. The "Malabar" exercises began in 1992 as bilateral naval drills between India and the United States, with the MSDF joining in 2015 as a regular participant. (Kyodo)
