Opposition lawmaker faces calls to quit over report of affair
Seiji Maehara, new leader of Japan's main opposition Democratic Party, meets with reporters in Tokyo on Sept. 7, 2017, following a magazine report that Shiori Yamao, a prosecutor-turned-lawmaker and rising star within the party, became involved in an extramarital affair.
