Zenkoji temple's sutra repository reopens to public
Worshippers rotate the octagonal shelf storing Buddhist sutras inside Zenkoji temple's Kyozo scripture repository in the central Japan city of Nagano on Sept. 13, 2017. The repository reopened to the public for the first time in nine years after finishing restoration work. It is said rotating the shelf can bestow a blessing similar to reading the entire sutra collection. (Kyodo)
