Japanese department store begins accepting orders for New Year's dishes
Employees wearing kimono hold samples of "osechi" Japanese traditional New Year's dishes at a Kintetsu department store in Osaka on Sept. 20, 2017, at the start of a campaign to accept orders from customers. Some of the osechi are very expensive, including a 162,000 yen ($1,450) dish to be made by a Japanese restaurant in Kyoto. (Kyodo)
