Japan to mark 7th anniv. of 2011 earthquake, tsunami disaster
Fishermen harvest seaweed in Fukushima Prefecture's Soma on Feb. 5, 2018, in preparation for the first shipment in seven years. The area used to be the largest producer of green laver in eastern Japan, but shipments had been suspended due to damage from the March 2011 earthquake and radioactive contamination from the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant disaster.
