Privately developed Japanese rocket fails shortly after liftoff
A rocket developed by a private company in Japan crashes to the ground and bursts into flames seconds after liftoff in Taiki on the Japanese northernmost main island of Hokkaido on June 30, 2018. MOMO-2 would have been Japan's first privately developed rocket to reach outer space. (Kyodo)
