Multilingual voice translation device

A multilingual voice translation device is exhibited during a demonstration event in Gifu city on Aug. 12, 2018. The eight-language translation device, developed by Panasonic Corp. and other companies on consignment from the Japanese government, will be used at about 30 places in Gifu and other central Japan cities from September on a trial basis, with the aim of putting them into practical use before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
