Typhoon halts operation of Japanese supercomputer K
Photo taken in June 2012 shows a Japanese supercomputer called K, in Kobe, western Japan. The supercomputer of the Riken research institute stopped operating for about two days in late August after a powerful typhoon damaged its electrical substation. There was no impact on its data storage. (Kyodo)
