A-bombed tree in Nagasaki
File photo taken in May 2014 shows a camphor tree at Sanno Shrine in Nagasaki city, southwestern Japan, which survived the 1945 U.S. atomic bombing. Japanese singer Masaharu Fukuyama, a native of Nagasaki, has collected about 4.5 million yen in donations to help the city conserve the tree. (Kyodo)
