Cattle in radiation-exposed area in northeastern Japan
Cows graze on a weed-ridden field in Okuma town, to which entry is still restricted due to high radiation levels, near the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on Aug. 10, 2018. Cattle farmer Satsuki Tani released the cows as part of her efforts to put the desolate field under proper management following the 2011 nuclear crisis. (Kyodo)
