Japanese confection recognized as best-seller
Photo taken June 3, 2019, shows Hakata Torimon, a popular "manju" steamed-bun cake from Japan's southwestern prefecture of Fukuoka. The confection has been recognized by Guinness World Records for having the most sales in a calendar year in a new category dedicated to bean paste-filled confectionery, with total sales of 7.59 billion yen (around $70 million) in 2018.
