Temporary housing for victims of 2018 torrential rain
Photo taken in Saka, Hiroshima Prefecture, on Jan. 6, 2020, shows temporary housing for people affected by the torrential rain that struck wide areas of western Japan in July 2018 and caused flooding and landslides. A total of about 6,600 people in Hiroshima, Okayama and Ehime prefectures still live in temporary housing, according to a survey conducted in December 2019. (Kyodo)
