Cruise ship in southwestern Japan
Photo taken Feb. 13, 2020, shows the Japanese cruise ship Pacific Venus docked at Nagasaki Port in southwestern Japan after its plan to make a port call in Taiwan became infeasible with the island's ban on cruise ship visits amid increasing fear of the spread of a new coronavirus. The vessel, carrying 248 passengers, mostly Japanese nationals, left Yokohama on Jan. 16, 2020, for a Southeast Asia cruise. (Kyodo)
