Salmon fry released in Fukushima river
Juvenile salmon are released into a river in Naraha, Fukushima Prefecture, on March 17, 2020. Located near the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the northeastern Japanese town had been designated as an evacuation zone until September 2015 due to the nuclear crisis triggered by a massive earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
