        Station-side robot demonstration experiment started by Connected Robotics and others

        On the 16th, Connected Robotics (Koganei City, Tokyo), in collaboration with JR East Startup (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) and Nippon Restaurant Enterprise (Taito Ward, Tokyo), began a demonstration experiment of an "ekisoba (buckwheat noodle) robot" at a soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant in JR Higashi Koganei Station.             Alloy Giken Automates Brazing Process Cleaning

            Alloy Giken (Iwatsuki Ward, Saitama City) has automated the cleaning process, which is a preliminary step in the brazing process. In addition to addressing the shortage of manpower, the company aims to improve the working environment by reducing the emission of volatile organic solvents through the use of a sealed cleaning tank. Since the machine is about 2 meters square and 1.7 meters high, the space for the washing process was expanded. In anticipation of future restrictions on organic solvents and other cleaning fluids, a general-purpose cleaning tank was used. In the past, baskets containing parts were manually moved in and out of the cleaning tank, but now that the tank is sealed, "workers will not be bothered by the strong smell of volatile solvents," according to the company.
