Japanese diplomacy analyst Okamoto dies from coronavirus

Okamoto, a former Japanese Foreign Ministry official and senior research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for International Studies, died on April 24, 2020, aged 74, after contracting the novel coronavirus, according to a company he had headed.
