Sweetfish released into Fukushima river
People release more than 20,000 sweetfish fry into a river in Naraha, northeastern Japan -- located near the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant -- on May 27, 2020, ahead of the envisaged resumption of sweetfish fishing in 2021. The release of sweetfish into the Kido River was the first since the nuclear crisis in March 2011. (Kyodo)
