Imperial Japanese Army unit headquarters in Okinawa
Photo taken in Okinawa Prefecture on June 30, 2020, shows the interior of an underground shelter that the Imperial Japanese Army's 32nd Army used as its headquarters during the Battle of Okinawa in World War II. The shelter, built just below Shuri Castle in Naha, southern Japan, was unveiled to the media the same day.
