75th A-bomb anniversary in Hiroshima
Japanese Health, Labor and Welfare Minister Katsunobu Kato (2nd from R) visits a former army clothing depot in Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 2020, the 75th anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombing of the western Japan city during World War II. The building, which lies 2.7 kilometers from the A-bomb hypocenter and is one of the largest to have survived the attack, served as a facility responsible for production of military outfit items until the end of the war.
