Tokyo Olympic torch

The Olympic torch to be carried by relay runners starting next spring ahead of the postponed Tokyo Games in the summer is put on display at the Koriyama city government office in northeastern Japan on Oct. 6, 2020. The torch will tour 21 municipalities in Fukushima Prefecture, one of the regions hardest hit by the 2011 earthquake-tsunami disaster, until early March 2021. The Olympic torch relay will begin on March 25 from the J-Village football facilities in Fukushima Prefecture.
