Face mask strap for easing ear pain

Photo taken in Yao in Osaka Prefecture, western Japan, on Oct. 14, 2020, shows a strap that can hold a face mask on the back of a wear's neck without placing loops around each ear. Sunlight Kasei Co., a local plastic parts maker, has donated 55,000 such straps to schools, hospitals and other places for people who suffer discomfort around the ear from wearing mask ear loops for an extended period of time amid the coronavirus pandemic.
