The Roma Culture Museum (MRK)

The Roma Culture Museum (MRK) opened a memorial to the Roma and Sinti Holocaust in Moravia in the special forced labour camp for the Roma during World War Two, on August 20, 2019, in Hodonin u Kunstatu, Czech Republic. MRK director Jana Horvathova told CTK three exhibitions were opening. They will offer archaeological findings from another forced labour camp for the Roma, in Lety, south Bohemia, student works on the Holocaust and on the genocide. The memorial was built by the National Teaching Museum and J. A. Komensky Library for almost 100 million crowns. The works took five years. (CTK Photo/Ludek Perina)
