Keidanren chief Nakanishi to step down in June due to illness
Hiroaki Nakanishi, chairman of the Japan Business Federation, seen in this undated file photo, will step down on June 1, 2021, due to an ongoing battle with lymphoma, sources familiar with the matter said on May 10, 2021. Masakazu Tokura, 70, chairman of Sumitomo Chemical Co., will replace Nakanishi, 75, as the head of Japan's most powerful business lobby, also known as Keidanren.
