55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival cancelled

This year's 55th Karlovy Vary international film festival has been cancelled over the novel coronavirus epidemic and it will be held on July 2-10, 2021, the organisers told media on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. The festival, annually held in the first week of July and originally scheduled for July 3-11 this year, was first postponed until August, but now it seems that it will not take place in 2020 at all and the organisers are preparing a series of screenings all over the country instead.
