Milos Vystrcil

Czech Senate chairman Milos Vystrcil believed that other top politicians, for instance from the EU, would start realising their democratic delay and would visit Taiwan soon, he said in his speech to students at the National Chengchi University in Taipei today, on Monday, August 31, 2020. He also expressed regret that his predecessor at the Senate's helm, Jaroslav Kubera, had not managed to visit Taiwan earlier. Vystrcil also mentioned the Czech Republic having the president (Milos Zeman) who had not recommended trip to Taiwan to him, while the Taiwanese had elected the president who supported his trip and cooperation of democratic countries.
