Jiangsu Taicang Waterway Office of the Yangtze River has been constantly improving the navigation capacity of the waterway under its jurisdiction. The water depth of the waterway under its jurisdiction has been maintained at more than 12.5 meters, and the deep-water waterway runs through 38.8 kilometers of the whole water area of Taicang. In the Taicang section of the Yangtze River, the fourth-generation container ships and 50,000-ton ships can have full tide two-way navigation, and the fifth and sixth generation large ocean container ships, 100,000-ton fully loaded bulk carriers and 200,000-ton reduced bulk carriers can ride the tide directly to Taicang Port.
