Wisterias in Kasuga Shrine

Wisterias in Kasuga Shrine

This photo captures the inside of the west corridor surrounding the main hall of Kasuga Taqisha Shrine from around the Naijimon Gate, which is also the north gate when facing east slightly northerly direction. Iden stands west of the corridor and there is Houko, a 2 x 2 bay building with itakura style, north of it. This photo was taken when wisteria flowers blossomed.==Date:unknown, Place:Nara, Photo:Ogawa Kazumasa, (Credit:Nagasaki University Library/Kyodo News Images) [Cabinet Number6‐4‐0]
