Minamoto Yoritomo died at the age of 53 in 1199, and his remains were buried in the Jibutsudo in the hills of Nishigomon in Kamakura city. The five-story stone pagoda with a stone fence marks the site. The building visible in the background probably stands near Oiwake Jizo. This area was beautiful at the time. The sky is visible between the trees.
