Hyogo Wadadera Temple
Wada Shinto Shrine (Hyogo Ward, Kobe City) at Cape Wada is captured sometime in the early to mid-Meiji Period. Built by the feudal lord of Amagasaki, Aoyama Yoshitoshi, in 1662, the shrine is dedicated to the deity of the sea, and all the boats coming in to Hyogo are said to have visited here to pray for a safe voyage. It was relocated a short distance to the north in 1902 due to the construction of the Mitsubishi Shipyard.==Date:unknown, Place:Hyogo, Photo:unknown, (Credit:Nagasaki University Library/Kyodo News Images) [Cabinet Number56‐14‐0]
