Writer Kita dies
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows novelist Morio Kita speaking during an interview at his home in Tokyo in July 2010. The writer known for his literary works, such as ''The House of Nire'' and a series of humorous essays ''Dr. Mambo,'' died in a Tokyo hospital on Oct. 24, 2011. He was 84. (Kyodo)
