Nobel literature prize selector Englund
STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Peter Englund, permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy, which selects the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, speaks during an interview with Kyodo News in Stockholm on Oct. 4, 2011, prior to the announcement of the 2011 recipient on Oct. 6. The head of the academy said that there has been a ''European bias'' in selecting winners and that this trend will be corrected in the future. (Kyodo)
