Anonymous donations for children

YAMAGATA, Japan - The head of a nursery in Yamagata city, northeastern Japan, shows 100,000 yen and an envelope on Jan. 11, 2011, which the nursery received from an anonymous donor who listed the name of a cartoon hero. Anonymous donations of cash, school bags and other items for children, especially to facilities for underprivileged children, under the names of cartoon hero Tiger Mask and others have been spreading across Japan since the Christmas season.
