Amateur Matsuyama wins Taiheiyo Masters

GOTEMBA, Japan - Asian amateur champion Hideki Matsuyama of Japan holds the trophy at Taiheiyo Club's Gotemba Course in Shizuoka Prefecture on Nov. 13, 2011, after winning the Taiheiyo Masters. The 19-year-old became the third amateur golfer to win on the JGTO Tour after Masahiro Kuramoto in 1980 and Ryo Ishikawa in 2007. (Kyodo)
